Political View |

One man’s political views are a curiosity. They frequently provoke argument and debate when in conflict with others. There is not much benefit in that tension and disagreement.
Political ideas that can find a common ground of support are important and world changing. They become the policy and laws that promote good or bad results.
I hope to put forth some views here that are of the common good variety for the betterment of our nation. If they are of the curiosity variety, I apologize to those that feel compelled to argue against them for wasting our time.

An Amendment to the US Constitution
We have suffered as a nation the injury to our culture that has resulted from the power of the elite and arrogant political enemies of our moral foundations. Liberty without moral responsibility is the tyranny of evil and destruction. Our God given freedom must be the freedom to do any good and righteous thing and not the freedom to do evil. A balance of liberty with responsibility that allows for careful change to our long traditions must be our course. In recent generations we have gotten off that course and this amendment seems to be the only real course correction device that will save us from the precipice this generation faces if we continue.
